The Challenge

RACE FORMAT / IMPORTANT INFORMATIONS

TECHNICAL CHECK

Check of Car, Driver’s safety equipment in terms of accordance to the GT3CCCE Sticker and Badge Regulations.

When ? Friday afternoon and/or Saturday morning.

 

ADMINISTRATION CHECK

Driver’s Licence check before the weekend. According to the supplementary regulations of the weekend and/or According internal event schedule.
When ? Friday afternoon and/or Saturday morning.

 

DRIVER’S BRIEFING

Obligatory before each racing weekend.

When ? Friday.

 

CARS ADIMITTED

Porsche GT3 Cup & Porsche Cayman GT4.
The vehicles must meet the technical specifications of these rules and Appendix J of the International Sporting Code in full, and must possess a valid registered PZM vehicle pass or a corresponding document of another ASN associated to the FIA.

 

PARC FERME

Obligatory after Qualifying Session and Races.

 

FREE PRACTICE

There is 35min of Free Practice, When ? usually on Friday afternoon.

 

QUALIFYING SESSION

There is 35min of Qualifying session.
The qualifying session is deemed to be completed when the minimum three laps of the track with a time measurement are covered.
If the driver did not pass any measurement lap or did not take part in the qualifying session, he can be, by consent of the event authorities, considering knowledge about the track, admitted to the start in the race from the last starting grid.
When ? usually on Saturday morning.

 

RACE

Two 25min races on each racing weekend.
When ? usually Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning.

 

THE GRID

The best qualifying time determines the position on the starting grid for race 1, while the second-best qualifying time of the driver in question determines the position on the starting grid for race 2.

 

STARTING PROCEDURE

According to the FIA regulation. Standing start.

 

PODIUM CEREMONY

Directly after each race. Trophies in General Classification and in Classes.

 

TYRES

For the duration of the event only Michelin tires, marked and delivered by the organizer may be used. During the first race weekend maximum 3 sets of tires may be bought, at the subsequent weekends maximum of 2 sets. The tires will be marked.
Number of rain tires is unlimited.

Michelin supplier will be present at the track from Thursday before the weekend.

 

CLASSES

General Classification – all vehicles except Guest Entries
Class 997 - Porsche 911 GT3 Cup 997 (manufacture year 2005-2013),
Class 996- Porsche 911 GT3 Cup 996 (manufacture year do 2004),
Class S – Driver’s born before year 1965
Guest Class – drivers with a valid international driver’s license (at least license grade C) who are registered using an "Application for Guest Entry” and participate with a vehicle not entered/without an existing starting number. They may take part without being eligible for the point.

 

POINT SCORING

Scoring for each race will be following.
General Classification: 20, 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1
Scoring in Classes: 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. If the number of entries is less than 6, the value of the points shall be reduced of 50%.

 

FINAL CLASSIFICATION

Driver who collected the greatest number of points wins titles of Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Central Europe Champion ( with gala in Weissach ) and Champion of Poland ( with gala in Warsaw )
